Based on a praying mantis, Click is a bug-like fairy character that I designed and 3D printed to create a puppet. Click doesn’t know where she came from, so she studies and catalogs other creatures she finds.

She was sculpted in ZBrush, printed with a resin 3D printer, and constructed in the style of ball-jointed dolls. Her body is hand-painted, her hair is brushed-out wefts of yarn, and her wings are wire and printed transparency film. The set is constructed from painted foam with moss for texture, and the base is made from wood. I also incorporated different props including a dissection table with a figure as well as several posters to reference Click’s story.
